The Internets aka WiFi sponsored by Qualtel Business Telephone Systems
Because what would a podcamp be without wifi, the fine folks as Qualtel Business Telephone Systems have jumped in to provide our event with smoking fast wifi. We’ll be surfing until the cows come home….wait a minute. Are there cows at the beach? Nevermind.
Remember to bring you wifi enabled laptop, smart phone and iPad with you to get the most out of your PodCamp San Antonio experience.

PodCamp San Antonio 4: Shirts and Badges and Banners – OH MY!
Here is just a peak at the goodies you’ll be getting tomorrow morning at PodCamp San Antonio. #pcsa4. Thanks to Michael De Leon for his creative genius in the creation of these podcamp-alicious stuff. BTW, if you want one of these bad boys, you’ll have to be one of the first 50 folks in the door.
You’ll be wearing these shirts for years to come, because black never goes out of style:
For the uber geek who keep badges as status symbols:
This is the banner that will be hanging outside of the LOL Comedy Club making it easy for folks to find all the Podcamp goodness.

A match made in San Antonio … Podcamp San Antonio 4.0 and LOL Comedy Club. That’s right, the location for this year’s Podcamp is LOL at 618 NW Loop 410 (Blanco Rd & Loop 410).
All who love audio and video will gather for this annual event to network with others of like interests, share knowledge and information, and teach those with a thirst to learn more about the podcasting phenomenon. Learn, Share, Grow, is the motto for the group, and we take it to heart.
Festivities begin early (8:00 AM) on May 22nd, with registration and time to meet old friends and make new ones. However, we soon get down to business with a full-on camp meeting with a main course and plenty of side dishes. The great time will continue until 5:00 PM officially, but informal, spontaneous conversation always erupts afterward.
Podcamp San Antonio 4.0 is all about learning. From “newbie” to “old hand,” you will find valuable information and have to opportunity to “share what you know” with other attendees.
Registration is simple, free, and painless.
See you all there.

It’s that time of year again. PodCamp San Antonio 3.0 is on the horizon. When we first conceived of the idea for PodCamp San Antonio in 2007, we could never have imagined what would happen from those humble beginnings.
To say it’s been a whirlwind would be an understatement. From PodCamp San Antonio I in 2007, then PodCamp San Antonio: Numero Dos to the upcoming PodCamp San Antonio 3.0 so much has happened. San Antonio went from the place no one knew had a New Media and Social Media Community to a heavy hitter.
San Antonio can now count itself among cities who have held, Barcamp, Startup Weekend and Freelance Camp with so many more on the way. We have found our community and it all started with our humble PodCamp San Antonio back in May of 2007. To date we are still the only Podcamp in the State of Texas, however our good friends to the East of us on I-10 in Houston are hard at work bringing Podcamp Houston to life. We wholeheartedly support their efforts and are looking forward to attending Podcamp Houston on June 13, 2009.
You might be wondering what’s in store for PCSA 3.0. Let me tell you we are currently looking for another space that is uniquely San Antonio. If you will recall we held the first Podcamp at the Sunset Station. Then last year we happy to hold Podcamp 2 at El Tropicano Hotel which is like stepping into the 1960’s with a retro latin flair.
This year we are hoping to continue to capture the unique essence of San Antonio. Let us know if you’ve got an idea for a space that will both highlight the rich culture and also show the modern hi-tech side of the Alamo City.
We’ll be unveiling a new logo for the 3.0 version of PodCamp San Antonio soon.
Stay tuned for more as we roll closer toMay 16th for the premier camp in San Antonio.
